Thanks to SMAT training methodologies and flexibility

“Since starting my journey towards my Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and Children and Young people settings in 2010 I have grown in both self-confidence & self-belief in my caring and support skills for children in my care. This is due to the content of the modules as well as the support & encouragement of the likeminded members of the training team. This initial achievement in this sector has led me to further studies completing a Masters in Therapeutic and Counselling at a London University. SMAT’s teaching methods addressed my learning styles which developed my knowledge & confidence leading me to activate positive change from within my team of peers which has undoubtedly impact on my contribution to my Company Culture & the Fostering Support Groups. I am in a different head space and have now started to foster more Challenging children and feel that I am equipped to make a difference and maintain Banya’s moto a ‘Sense of belonging, for all children in my care Thanks to SMAT training methodologies and flexibility”
