SMAT has different ways of teaching including online and mainly our training is the good old classroom based. We use a variety of approaches with an aim to support our learners in understanding the theory and map it to their practice. Each course has well planned case studies tailored to spell out how to apply to their roles. The aim is that our learners are supported to reflect on their practice whilst learning in order to develop good practice to enhance their performance in their workplace.

We also employ blended learning where the students use both online and face to face facilities. In some cases training is provided via Skype, Zoom and webinars to cater for the needs of our learners.

Over the years we have gone from strength to strength, each course is equipped with resources which makes it easy to maintain the quality of learning across SMAT. All of our courses are packed with case studies, role play and group work in line with relevant legislation and policies that govern their practice.

Trainers are highly qualified and experienced in their areas and are capable of signposting learners to resources appropriate to their learning.
