“I was working in a Nursing Home as a carer, I signed on a course with SMAT to do Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care for Adults. The tutors were very flexible and would cater for our unsociable working hours. The most impact for me was how the tutors helped me to link the learning into my work to improve my performance. Having successfully completed the Diploma, I was motivated to go to study nursing at University and that Diploma was my entry qualification to the nursing degree which I have now completed and improved my earning a great deal”
